Spanish researcher and professor based in Chile. He directs the Industrial and Industrial Execution Engineering programs at the Universidad Católica del Maule (UCM) and holds a PhD in Nuclear Science and Technology from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His research focuses on molecular dynamics, materials modeling, and applications to nuclear fusion; he has led projects and authored over 10 international publications. Since joining UCM in 2019, he has held academic leadership roles (Acting Department Director, Faculty Secretary, Program Director), overseeing curriculum, accreditation, and program strategy. He completed postdoctoral work at the Instituto de Fusión Nuclear “Guillermo Velarde,” Universidad Mayor, and CEDENNA on nanomaterials and computational simulations. He has supervised over 40 undergraduate theses, teaches across multiple engineering disciplines, and actively organizes workshops, participates in research networks, and presents at international conferences.
