Thawatchai Onjun

Obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Lehigh University (Pennsylvania, USA) in 2004. He has served as Executive Director of the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization, TINT) since 2020, beginning his second term in 2024. From 2017 to 2020 he was Deputy Executive Director. Earlier, he was a lecturer and researcher at the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (2004-2016). Dr. Onjun is active in professional societies, serving on the Executive Committee of the Nuclear Society of Thailand (2012-present) and as Chief Division Secretary of the Division of Plasma Physics, Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (2015-2016). He has received multiple research awards recognizing his contributions.
